Lakeshores Library System

Lakeshores Library System
The East Troy Lions Public Library is part of the Lakeshores Library System (LLS) which was established as a single county library service for Racine County in the 1970's. In 1982, the Walworth County Board of Supervisors voted to join LLS, thus setting in motion our transformation into a multi-county library system as of January 1st, 1983. Fifteen municipal libraries and one school library are the core members of LLS. Beyond our core members, LLS provides staffing and support for the SHARE Consortium: a network of 29 public libraries that share materials and resources. These libraries span Kenosha, Racine, Rock and Walworth counties. Click on the Lakeshores Logo above for more information.
