Teen Library Council

Would you like to meet new friends, have fun, make material suggestions for the library, and plan interesting teen events?  The Library would like to start a Teen Library Council to work with the director to nosh on some snacks, select material and plan fun events like Poetry Slams, book related movie screenings (e.g. Harry Potter), or whatever else we can dream up.  If you are interested, please stop by and see us (3094 Graydon Avenue), give us a call (262-642-6262), or email Alison, the Director (senkevitch@easttroy.lib.wi.us).

Welcome to the East Troy Lions Public Library TeenSpace

We recently launched a new blog just for teens.  It's called the BET BookClubbers and it's a joint project with the Burlington Public Library.  It's aimed at teenagers in seventh grade and up, and it's a place for you to rave about your favorite books, talk about those books that you didn't like, and of course, read and comment on what others are posting.  Feel free to use tools like Animoto, Prezi and podcasts to spice up your posts and most importantly, have fun.
If you want to sign up, simply stopy by the library (3094 Graydon Avenue), give us a call (262-642-6262), or send our Director, Alison, an email (senkevitch@easttroy.lib.wi.us).
